Forum is dead.

Not dead, on vacation, lol. Nah, I am thinking this needs to be reinvented or something. PokeMMO seems to be slowly losing people, CoD players aren't much for visiting forums, and our existing members have gone to new MMOs (even though they are perfectly okay bringing stuff from their new games here). So I am thinking (as much as people may dislike it at first) about bringing down Mercs for a little while (as new members who are not RP fans find it intimidating at first) and start pushing this site in the direction of different games.

By bringing down mercs, of course, I mean make it less as dominate on the site here. It would still be here and playable, it just wouldn't be the main selling point for the site.

Sounds good, make the site less of a specific game discussion. The more wide range the discussion the more people you get from other backgrounds. I think the problem was that PokeMMO has its own forum and CoD generally has many other forums. As you said the selling point of the forum was the forum game, which can easily be recreated by another site.
To be honest you need to have a game that you're working on be the primary focus of this forum, that way those that like the game will hang around on the forum to discuss your game and wait for a new update.
